This is a sometimes treat in my mind, my husband thinks it is a daily part of his diet so for that reason when I make this decadent treat I cut it up and freeze it, stored in an airtight container. He can have a piece each night and I only have to cook it once a month. It can be eaten frozen and if you want a brownie more like a fudge texture then cook it for 5 minutes less and then freeze it but otherwise simply follow the cooking guide and share this with family and friends.
Method
- What you will need: 3 eggs, 150g butter
- Combine contents of packet with 150g of melted butter, mixing to combine
- In a separate bowl, beat 3 eggs until light and fluffy
- Slowly add chocolate mixture to the beaten eggs while continuously beating for another 5 minutes
- Pour mixture into a greased and lined slice tray approximately 27cm x 17cm
- Bake in a preheated oven at 175c for 25 minutes (the top should be a little bit crusty when cooked)
- Slice into pieces when cool
- Can be frozen in an airtight container
As soon as you open this packet mixture you will know how delicious it will be - you can see the dark chocolate, the almond and you can smell that gorgeous certified organic cocoa.
